Coffee County General Election 2022
Coffee County Commissioner
District 4.1
Welcome. Thank you for taking time to visit this website.
The Purposes of this website are to provide a brief introduction for myself, a brief history of my time in Coffee County, and why I’m seeking your approval to represent each of you in the 4th District of Coffee County. In the near future, I will be expanding this site to include opportunities for you to express concerns and opinions. Should I be elected and have the opportunity to serve this district, I will be posting surveys for those of you who register with this site.
My name is Joseph M “Joe Mike” Hodge. I have been married to Judy D. Hodge for 43 years. We are blessed with three children Joshua, Jeanna Anne, and Jennifer. All of them are grown with two of the three being married.
Judy, a native to Coffee County and I, from Loudon County in East Tennessee, live in the same home of northeast Coffee County into which we moved Christmas week of 1992. Possessing my Master’s Degree in Music, it has been my privilege to serve as Worship Leader in several churches in Coffee and Warren Counties. I have finished my 19th year as a Music Instructor at Motlow State Community College. In addition to these responsibilities, I have operated an automotive repair company for 20 years. Judy has been employed as a Special Education Instructor with the Coffee County School system teaching in multiple grades for the last 23 years.
Having been actively involved in many capacities of the political system, I saw this new position for County Commissioner become available after the redistricting of Coffee County following the last census.
I offer to the citizens of the 4th district a “fresh” face to represent them. I consider myself a Pro Life, Constitutional Conservative. I hope to bring the reasonable, insightful, and responsive representation as intended by the Founders of this country’s originally established government. It was their original intent that government be limited so that the citizens would be free to enjoy true liberty and freedom it afforded.
Today’s culture has in many ways lost the “ideals” the Founders established and which have sustained this country for over 235 years. However, nowhere else in this world do any people experience these opportunities existing in America.
I seek your vote to allow me the privilege to bring these principles and ideals of our Founders back to the local level of our District 4 in the County of Coffee in the great State of Tennessee. I won’t be a “perfect” representative for you. However, I will make every worthy attempt to do so.
Thank you for your interest and time spent reviewing this site. I look forward to serving you if so elected and together with you to sustaining the liberties and freedoms our Founders intended for us to experience.
Until later,
Joseph M. Hodge
